BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – More than $1 million in cocaine was seized in a reported Puerto Rico to New England drug smuggling ring.
Massachusetts State Police said investigators found 12 kilograms of cocaine connected to the operation in Puerto Rico and another 10 kilograms at Logan International Airport in Boston.
State Police said two Jet Blue passengers, arriving from San Juan, were arrested and charged with trafficking in a Class B substance over 200 grams on Wednesday. They were identified as 20-year-old Naxel Miranda-Diaz and 28-year-old Edwin Rosario, 28, both of Puerto Rico.
Both men were held on $250,000 pail.
