15-year-old boy missing since Sunday, returns home

EAST BRIDGEWATER, Mass. — UPDATE: Erik returned home Tuesday night.

"We went upstairs to use the bathroom and saw a light under his bedroom door. His dad opened the door and there he was laying in his bed. He is angry, he shaved his head and said he didn't want to be running from the police but didn't want to come home," his mother told FOX25.

ORIGINAL STORY: An East Bridgewater family is asking for help after their 15-year-old son ran away this weekend.

Erik Pina was last seen Sunday afternoon, and his mother told FOX25 she believes he removed the air conditioner from his second story window and jumped out.

Police are involved in the search and say it’s possible someone may be harboring him in an unsafe location.

Police say because of Erik’s age, they cannot bring him home unless he has committed a crime.

Erik, if you can see this, your mother and sister desperately want you to come home.
