11 Mass. Dunkin' Donuts robbed since June

RAYNHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- An armed robbery at a Raynham Dunkin' Donuts is just the latest in a string of armed robberies over the past few months.

Surveillance photos show a man dressed head to toe in black demanding money from the Raynham shop Wednesday.

Police say the robber got in through the drive-thru window, took out a gun, and told employees to get on the ground as he took money out of the cash register.

Since June 15, 11 Dunkin' Donuts stores from Raynham to Newton have been held up, including in Walpole, Norton, Easton, North Attleborough, and Plainville.

Police departments where the robberies occurred are teaming up to catch the criminal. One official tells FOX 25 whenever there are incidents at Dunkin' Donuts in other towns their investigators are most assuredly speaking to officials in those towns.

For the time being, police are warning anyone who may find themselves in a similar situation not to fight back and to call police as soon as possible.

Raynham police describe the suspect in Wednesday night's robbery as a fair skinned white man with light eyes. They're working with other departments to determine whether the robbery is connected to other recent events.
