MASHPEE, Mass. — A 14-month-old boy has died after being hit by a vehicle in a Cape Cod driveway Friday afternoon.
The child was taken to Falmouth Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
According to police, the child was playing in the driveway at a Mashpee home as adults were moving cars around 5:30 p.m. The driver of the car that hit the boy has not been identified, but told police they did not see him.
The Mashpee Police Department and Cape Cod Regional Crash Reconstruction Team are involved in the on-going investigation.
