1 dead after shooting at Ramsay Park in Boston

BOTSON — There is crime scene tape up and down Shawmut Avenue in Roxbury as Boston police investigate a murder.

A man died Sunday morning after the shooting shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday and police are still looking for the shooter.

Police say it happened near the intersection of Shawmut Avenue and Kendall Street next to Ramsay Park in Boston.

While police were on scene, family members turned up to the area very emotional. Police said Sunday morning the man in his 20s was pronounced dead on scene.

Police had just announced Saturday they have confiscated more than 320 guns in the city just this year.
