1 million of those affected by Target data breach from Mass.

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Target announced that one million of the more than 40 million shoppers' credit and debit cards that were compromised in the store's data breach were from Massachusetts.

Nearly one million of those affected by the massive breach were shopping in Massachusetts at the chains' three dozen Baystate stores. And the fraud is not just costing shoppers, banks are also grappling with whether to replace all of those affected customers' cards. Experts say it could quickly cost tens of thousands of dollars for replacements.

In the meantime, Target says the breach has been resolved, and customers will have zero liability for any charges. The store is now offering free credit monitoring to anyone affected.
