1 killed, 3 injured in head-on crash in Framingham

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — A man in his 50s has died after a head-on crash Thursday evening in Framingham.

The crash happened near 171 Water Street around 6 p.m.

The man who died was the driver of one vehicle, and police believe he crossed into on-coming traffic before colliding with a minivan.

There were two adults and one child in the other vehicle involved. They were all transported to the hospital but are expected to be OK.

Neighbors tell Boston 25 News they didn't hear tires screeching before the impact.

“Almost like a transformer blowing up you didn’t hear screeching noise of tires you just heard a huge crash,” Tom Gentile said. “I didn’t know what happened I just threw my sneakers on and ran down the street.”
