1 sent to hospital after Plymouth house fire

PLYMOUTH, Mass. — One person was transported to a hospital following a house fire in Plymouth on Monday morning.

Plymouth firefighters were called to the 2-story home on Bourne Road around 5:30 a.m. Monday.

Four people were inside the home at the time, but managed to get out safely. One resident did suffer burns and was treated for minor injuries.

Fire officials say they had to bring in tankers because there are no fire hydrants in the area.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
