1 dead another injured after shooting in Dorchester

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- One person died and another one was injured after a shooting in Boston.

The shooting happened overnight on Wales Street.

Investigators tell FOX 25 a male victim died from his injuries. His identity was not released Wednesday.

One victim was able to drive to the hospital with what were originally believed to be injuries from the shooting, but they were actually caused by broken glass. Their condition is unknown.

A FOX 25 photographer at the scene was told there was some kind of party in the area when the shooting occurred.
