1 dead, 3 hurt in Wellfleet crash

WELLFLEET, Mass. (AP) - Authorities say one person has died and three people have been injured in a three-vehicle crash in Wellfleet.

The crash on Route 6 was reported at about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The crash involved a box truck, a pickup truck and a minivan operated by a cab company.

It was not immediately clear which vehicle the deceased was in.

The three injured people were taken to Cape Cod Hospital in Barnstable with serious injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

No names were released. The cause remains under investigation.

Traffic was being detoured off Route 6.
