For parents who have lost a child, finding support from others that have walked in those shows can make all the difference.
The Compassionate Friends is an organization based on supporting families after a child has passed away. Next weekend the group will hold its 36th annual national conference in Boston.
About 1,500 families from across the U.S. are expected to attend the conference. FOX 25's Maria Stephanos spoke with two people who will attend the conference during the FOX 25 News at 6 Saturday about how the group has helped them cope with their loss. Stephanie and Mitchell Greenblatt lost their son Ian in an car accident when he was 18.
