What's up for the Weekend: August 22-24

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- What's up for the weekend? A celebration of the life of Robin Williams, Frozen at the Hatch Shell and more are lined up for you.

Celebrate the life of Robin Williams in Boston. He and Matt Damon shared a famous scene on a bench at the Public Garden in Good Will Hunting and on Friday night the Fort Point Stage will host a free screening at Channel Center Park.

Every kids favorite movie, Frozen, is playing at the Hatch Shell Friday night. It's all part of the Free Friday Flicks; bring your own blanket, chair, pet and watch the movie for free. It starts at sundown.

Also Friday night, in Somerville they are remembering Woodstock, the 1969 music fest that changed the world. The 45th anniversary event will feature covers of legends like Santana, Joe Cocker and Jimi Hendrix. Tickets are $15-20 and it all kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at the Center for Arts at the Amory in Somerville.

Country music lovers getting ready because Brad paisley is in town. He'll be playing at the Xfinity center in Mansfield Saturday night.

The Classic Boat Festival will be held in Salem on Saturday and Sunday where classic yachts and motorboats will be on display. Tour the boats and meet skippers! There will also be music and events for kids at the Brewer Hawthorne Cove Marina.
