• What's up for the weekend: April 4-6


    BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – A performance by a country music singer, CraftBoston and more are on tap this weekend.

    Country music singer Ayla Brown will perform at the Great American Tavern in North Reading on April 5 at 7:30 p.m. The proceeds from the event including raffles and a silent auction will benefit the Relay for Life. And she will be on our Morning Show as well on Monday to perform a special song she wrote for the marathon.

    Food trucks are back in Boston this week and some will operate until midnight so if you are out and about in the city and need a snack, you've got options!

    Looking for something fun and artsy? Craftboston Spring, a display of 90 artists, will be at the Cyclorama at the Boston Center for the Arts Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. The tickets cost about $15, but children 12 years old and under are free. The tickets are good for the whole weekend.

    A fundraiser to support fallen Firefighter Kennedy and Lt. Walsh's families will be held on April 7 at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be distributed to the Walsh and Kennedy families. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster or by calling 617-562-8800. The prices are $15.33 or $33.15 and the doors open at 7 p.m. There will be a musical performance by Dalton and the Sheriffs and other special guests. Jason Varitek will be in attendance with elected officials, Boston's first responders, and other surprise celebrity guests! Only a few hundred tickets remain before the venue is sold out!
